    Austra Energy Showcased Full-Screen PV Modules with DAH Solar at the Smart E  Australian solar wholesaler Austra Energy showcased the Full-Screen PV Modules with DAH Solarat the Smart Energy Conference in Sydney. The booth attracted a lot of attention for its demonstration of a Full-Screen PV Module compared with a regular PV Module. The Full-Screen PV Modules have lower frames therefore can achieve no water and no dust accumulated at the bottom with a power generation increase of 6%-15%. DAH Solar’s Full-Screen PV Modules have a lowered frame, meaning water is able to run freely off the panel’s surface. The point of the design is to allow dusty residue to wash off the module easily unimpeded by the frame. This can allow the modules to be cleaned naturally by rain, leading to the great convenience of "self-cleaning". Austra Energy also add that "The key differences between DAH Solar's Full-Screen PV Modules and Longi's new Hi-MO X6 Guardian panel are that DAH Solar's  Full-Screen Modules have lowered frames on all sides, rather than simply the short side–as is the case with Longi. DAH Solar's product range covers both residential 440W and 475W panels and commercial and industrial (C&I) sized panels at 585W and 595W, aiming to provide high efficiency and high power generation solutions to various customers." The DAH panels are secured with a special rubber clamp, which is able to withstand temperatures up to 110°C, ensuring a longer life and a more reliable use. Compared to the theoretical limit of 28.7% efficiency, breaking through 26% surely means a lot. The LECO laser-enhanced contact optimization technology was used to separate the two key steps of metal erosion and contact formation considering its high  concentration of energy and controllability during the high-temperature sintering process, in this way the sintering process can be more precisely controlled. The full integration of the LECO equipment was completed within 7 days, which not only improved efficiency but also effectively reduced the difficulty of Poly back, showing important significance for the long-term competitiveness of TOPCon PV Modules.     8.09% More Power Generation!DAHSolar Full-Screen PV Module Report of XuanCheng 1.04MW Power Station Power Generation Report from the first three quarters of 2023 for the 1.04MW Full-Screen module photovoltaic power station constructed by Anhui Zhongyi Electric Power Environmental Protection Equipment Co., Ltd. (referred to as Zhongyi Electric Power) Park located in Langxi Economic Development Zone, Xuancheng City, Anhui Province was released. The average power generation gain per watt of the Full-Screen module is 8.09% higher than that of Regular modules! Project Overview The project is located in Xuancheng City, Anhui Province, in a mid latitude region, with a subtropical humid monsoon climate and distinct seasons. The average annual power generation is about 1020 hours (the smaller the inclination angle of the photovoltaic power station installation, the shorter the available sunpower hours), and the average annual temperature is 15.6 ° C. It belongs to the category III development area of solar energy resources, and the development value of solar energy resources is good. Project Design The 1st phase of the project is connected to the grid with a capacity of 1.04MW, using a total of 1932 photovoltaic modules, using DAH Solar Full-Screen modules(540W, 182mm/72 pieces), as well as regular modules (same 540W, 182mm/72 pieces). The inverter uses Sungrow 100kW series inverter, with a total of 9 units. The project sets up distribution cabinets according to the grid connection points, with 10kV outgoing lines. The components are laid flat on the colored steel tiles of the factory building using crossbeam guide rails, and the installation angle is 5 °. The full screen component is installed in the same way as the regular component, using fixtures to fix it and equipped with EPDM gaskets to prevent scratching the front glass of the component when installing the pressure block. The power station was integrated into the power grid on September 27, 2022. Power Generation Results In the first three quarters of 2023, the cumulative power generation of the power station was 890896.1kWh, of which the Full-Screen PV Module power generation was 512188.1kWh, and the average daily equivalent hours were 3.22h; The power generation of Regular Module is 378708kWh, and the average daily equivalent hours are 3.02h. At present, all operational indicators of the power station meet the empirical requirements. This is due to the fact that the Full-Screen PV Modules do not accumulate water or dust, resulting in better power generation performance.     DAH Solar Module Manufacturing has been Comprehensively Upgraded At the beginning of 2023, DAH Solar completed the module production factory upgrade. DAH Solar optimized serval production processes, like EVA positioning control, welding, automatic inspection, and water cooling. The result of this investment is very surprising. DAH Solar has achieved a new production speed that producing one module only takes 16 seconds instead of 22 seconds! For EVA positioning control, this process is to settle the EVA on the module for bonding the solar cells and the back sheet. This improvement could make sure the overall overage so the EVA sheet won’t shift in the later process. Besides, the welding procedure improvement is very significant. DAH Solar changed the old welding method. Now the welding is through heating the bus bar instead of directly heating the solder strip. For the TOPCon module, the solder strip is even thinner. If directly heating the strip, it has greater odds of causing the solder strip breakage. Heating from the bottom of the bus bar could perfectly solve the problem because the bus bar could balance the heat conduction. Also, the water cooling machine could help the module decrease the temperature after the EVA melting process. As we all know, after the EVA melting procedure, the module could reach to 140℃. Without the cooling system, it needs to take a longer time to reach the next step of operational temperature. Before it gets cool down, lifting the module could deform the glass and the solar cell, in some extreme cases, the glass would even be broken. DAH Solar introduce an advanced cooling system, which will shorten the cooling time and decrease the temperature to 25℃. This will help increase the production efficiency. During this visit, a direct phenomenon could be observed, which is the number of workers has decreased. The production manager Mr. Wang claimed that the DAH Solar module factory has accomplished fully automatic production, which means the production is getting more and more accurate and the requirement of workers are more strict. Mr. Wang said DAH Solar has upgraded all the inspection equipment. In the past, some inspections relied on visual inspection but now it changed to autoscan and the program will automatically check the quality. All in all, DAH Solar upgraded its production line to a more preciously, more efficient, and fully automatic.
